Equity Pathway: Disability Awareness - Understand, Don't Assume

Whereas diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging work together to achieve our goal of employees being their true authentic selves at work, they are not the same thing. Learners will complete a series of microlessons to increase their knowledge. In this class employees will learn: While people with disabilities make up a significant portion of the population, disability etiquette—the respectful communication and interaction with people with disabilities—tends to be lacking. Learn more about people with disabilities, the importance of the language we use, and what each of us can do to counter ableism and improve inclusivity.
