Diversity Pathway: The Intersection of Blind Spots & Your Brain

Whereas diversity, equity, inclusion and belonging work together to achieve our goal of employees being their true authentic selves at work, they are not the same thing. Learners will complete a series of microlessons to increase their knowledge. In this class employees will learn: No matter how hard we try to embrace diversity and foster inclusion, we’re always going to have blind spots. Our brains unconsciously place people into categories based on traits we observe, like gender, race, and age. In this lesson, learn why this happens and how to address it.
